A.Retief Riesling 2019
“The 2019 Riesling was fermented and matured solely in tank. Looking for a Riesling that focusses on lime and texture, I picked the grapes at around 11.5 Baume. The juice was then cold settled for two days before being fermented through to dryness- creating a wine that is textual and long.
The palate is floral and textual, a mid palate focussing on lime citrus with a beautifully balanced chalky, mineral and ginger finish.”
