The Jane McGrath High Tea returned for another memorable afternoon raising money to place more McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia, a legacy of Jane’s strength and vision in establishing the McGrath Foundation.

Our team at Urban Winery Sydney was proud to yet again manage the Jane McGrath High Tea event at the Entertainment Quarter on Sunday 5 January 2020. Together with all the fabulous sponsors, flowers by the wonderful @flowersbyzoe_sydney and music by @vixenstrings, guest’s all dressed up in pink enjoyed an afternoon of sweet treats and savoury eats as Australia host the West Indies in the third and final Test of the Commonwealth Bank Test Series.

The High Tea is a signature event on the Australian cricketing calendar as the Sydney Cricket Ground is bathed in pink on Day 3 of the Test, which has come to be known as ‘Jane McGrath Day’. The event, established as one of the McGrath Foundation first fundraising initiatives back in 2005, has been pivotal in connecting with supporters and raising money to fund over 110 McGrath Breast Care Nurses to treat over 40,000 families in communities right across Australia.

This year the Jane McGrath Foundation raised over $1.2 million. This will fund 9 McGrath Breast Care Nurses for a year supporting 900 families. See more here>>
