The Eastern Suburbs Cricket Clubs are delighted to announce that the upcoming Ladies Day on Sunday the 1st of December will be proudly presented by one of our distinguished sponsors the Urban Winery Sydney.

Located in the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, Urban Winery Sydney is Australia’s first true urban winery and the home of A.Retief wines. The A.Retief wine label is made from grapes sourced from cool climate southern NSW regions, including Tumbarumba, The Hilltops and the family’s biodynamic vineyard in Gundagai. The grapes are all trucked in entirely handcrafted by Alex on-site.

Being a working winery, epicurious visitors can discover and enjoy wine through their blending masterclasses, tours, tutored tastings, long lunches and exclusive private events.

Ladies Day will be hosted at our home ground of Waverley Oval and goes from 2 pm until 5 pm, with our Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup fixture against fierce local rivals Randwick-Petersham being the main viewing, starting at 2:30 pm.

The event will entail drinks — with the Urban Winery supplying some of their finest bottles including the 2019 A.Retief Mataro Rose-Hilltops, 2017 A.Retief Sauvignon Blanc and the 2017 A.Retief Field Blend, as well as beer being supplied by Cricketers Arms — and food under the marquee at Waverley Oval overlooking the ground.

Pricing for Ladies Day, presented by the Urban Winery Sydney is $30 for ladies and $40 for men, with a package deal of $100 for a group of four (minimum three females) with all tickets including a food and drinks package.
