Our October Chef X Winemaker Long Lunch!
Thank you to everyone who came to our October Chef x Winemaker Long Lunch! AND a big thank you to Jose for preparing a delicious four-course feed taking inspiration for the wine making process and his homeland of Portugal.
We started with NSW cheese & charcuterie platters followed by an entree of runner bean fritters, pasteis de bacahlau, pork and beef croquette and sardine on toast. The main included mirrol creek lamb, peas with sobrassada and cured egg yolk, mixed leaf and herb and roasted new potatoes with garlic and parsley and we finished with sweet belem portuguese tart.
Each course paired perfectly with A.Retief wines.
