Summer time & wine at Urban Winery Sydney

It couldn’t be much steamier tonight, and we’re kicking back after the storm with the new 2016 A.Retief Rose: light cherry, strawberry on the nose, and the usual dry style.

The only thing that would make it more delicious are some oysters…and we have those being shucked to order at the winery this Wednesday night from 6pm when the Ralston Bros team will be on-site!

Don’t miss this – it’s a relaxed, informal night where you can bring a group of friends or just kick back with some oysters and wine and write your Xmas list! Come in from 6pm, enjoy glasses of A.Retief wine (the chardonnay is my top match) and indulge on their freshly-shucked Waterfall & Pacific oysters farmed on the Clyde River on the NSW south coast. Ralston Bros will be shucking to order – and there’s few places where you can get them any fresher! 3 for $10, $30 for a dozen!!

Speaking of Christmas lists, Urban Winery Sydney has you covered for just about everyone and your Christmas lunch!

There’s the A.Retief Christmas dozen- $325 for 2 bottles each of the A.Retief Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rose, Field Blend, Tempranillo and Petit Verdot. They are all lighter, summer style wines, perfect for the big hit of heat we are going to have!

Or buy one of our new vouchers (so new they are still being printed!!) and give a blend-your-own wine session, tasting flight, wine masterclass or a couple of glasses of wine and a charceuterie plate at the bar. Virtually anything is possible!!
